The B22330 Wall Mounted Combination Bedpan & Wash-Up Sink is an effective solution to the cleaning of bedpans within hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities and other institutional facilities. The unit combines a bedpan sluice sink and a wash-up basin thus saving space within the washing area. The unit is manufactured from Grade 304 Stainless Steel ensuring the unit meets and exceed the strict hygienic standards required by hospital environments. All visible stainless steel surfaces are finished with a satin polish stainless steel finish ensuring the unit can be easily cleaned and maintained.

The bedpan sluice sink allows for the hygienic disposal of liquid and solid waste and is optimised for the cleaning of bedpans. The sluice sink includes both a bedpan spray nozzle and bottle spray nozzle allowing for easy cleaning of both bedpans and bedpan bottles. The sluice sink includes an integral flushing rim that offers hygienic and water efficient flushing of waste. At the bottom of the sluice sink, there is a standard outlet suitable for connection to PVC sewerage system. The waste outlet can be connected to either an S-Trap or a P-Trap. Flushing water is supplied to the sluice sink via either a back-entry or top-entry flush pipe connection. The back-entry flush pipe is suitable for use with concealed flushing systems whereas the top-entry flush pipe is suitable for use with exposed systems. The flush pipe connection can be connected to either a flush valve or a cistern flushing system. Where municipal water pressure is available a flush valve is recommended. In rural applications where water pressure may not be available, then a stainless steel cistern may be required. The sluice sink is combined with a rinse bowl with a 40mm waste outlet at the bottom. The unit also features a draining board. The sluice sink can be configured as either right-hand or left-hand of the rinse bowl.

The unit’s top slab is coated in vermin proof bitumastic sound deadening underneath for sound deadening. A sloped drip ledge is provided to prevent dirtying of the washing area. The B22330 Wall Mounted Combination Bedpan & Wash-Up Sink is easy to install via the heavy-duty stainless steel wall mounting brackets. Where additional support is required, the unit can be supplied with optional front support legs. Whilst greater support is provided, the front support legs do make cleaning behind the unit harder.
