Wall-mounted unit combining a slop hopper and wash hand basin for healthcare and institutional sluice rooms.

The units surfaces feature an aesthetic satin polish finish which makes for easy cleaning and maintenance of the unit. The slop hopper and wash hand basin combination sink is a one-piece, fully welded construction eliminating joints or crevices. This reduces the potential of the build-up of contaminants in hard to reach places ensuring the unit is easy to maintain in a sanitary condition. The top slab surface features a sloped drip ledge and a splashback to the rear to assist in keeping the washing area clean and dry. For applications requiring extra splash protection, an extended splashback can be supplied. The top slab also features a turn down all around the unit which increases the surface strength.

The slop hopper features an integral flushing rim that is designed to offer extremely efficient flushing. The flushing rim ensures an even spread of flushing water making sure all waste is washed away. The wall mounted combination unit can be supplied with either a back entry or top entry flush pipe connection for supply of the flushing water. The back entry model is designed to be used with concealed flushing systems. The top entry model is designed for use with an exposed cistern and is supplied with an integral stainless steel flush pipe. The unit is suitable for use with either a flush valve or a cistern. Flush valves are generally recommended for use in applications where standard municipal water pressure is available. In rural applications where the appropriate water pressure is not available, then a cistern flushing system is recommended. The cistern system can be either a high level or low level mounted cistern. The slop hopper sink is fitted with a stainless steel hinged grid. The grid is fitted with rubber stops to protect the unit from careless use.

The B22365 Wall Mounted Combination Slop Hopper & Wash Hand Basin comes with an integral wash hand basin that can be positioned either left or right of the slop hopper. The combination of a wash hand basin and a slop hopper saves space within the washing area and makes work far more efficient and hygienic. The wash hand basin features a 40 mm waste outlet.

The B22365 Wall Mounted Combination Slop Hopper & Wash Hand Basin is easily secured to the wall via heavy duty wall mounting brackets. For applications where extra support is required, the unit can be supplied with front support legs.
