The Basterfield B65220(RD-520) is a motorised dry boot scrubber manufactured in South Africa for mines, large production facilities and industrial footwear-cleaning points. Two powered brushes remove dirt from the soles and sides of boots as personnel move between work areas.
The unit has mild steel construction and support handrails. One side handrail can be removed where required by the installation layout. The compact arrangement is intended to fit into existing access routes; confirm dimensions and clearances for the proposed position.
A variable-direction motor allows the brush direction to be set for the planned direction of personnel movement. Confirm the operating controls, electrical supply and traffic arrangement when specifying the unit.
