Product overview
The Basterfield M36656 is a heavy-duty, wall-mounted automatic-fill drinking trough for large animals, including horses and cattle. Its generous bowl provides an open drinking area, while a ball inlet float controls water replenishment through a ¾″ BSP inlet specified for high-flow supply. A hinged access cover protects the float and opens for access.
Grade 304 stainless steel construction combines a heavy-duty 3 mm wall-mounting plate, a 1.2 mm bowl and a 1.5 mm bowl surround. The bowl and surround have radiused corners to aid cleaning and reduce sharp corners around the animal drinking area.
Overall width across the mounting plate is 490 mm. The bowl is 450 mm outside length and 417 mm inside length, with a 400 mm front-to-back width, a 260 mm open drinking access dimension and a 180 mm bowl depth.
The bowl is pre-punched for a 1½″ waste outlet and is supplied fitted with a chrome-plated waste outlet and plug. Removing the plug allows the bowl to be drained for cleaning.
