Back-entry or top-entry bowl urinals?
Compare the B17744 inlet arrangements and identify the separate flushing accessories to include in your quote.
Basterfield EngineeringUpdated
Start with the pipework arrangement
The B17744 bowl is available with a back-entry or top-entry flush inlet. Choose the model to match the intended pipework, not just the appearance of the bowl. Confirm the arrangement with the project plumber before ordering.
- B17744(B): back entry for concealed pipework.
- B17744(T): top entry for an exposed flush connection.
Specify the flushing accessories separately
The bowl and the optional flush system are separate products. A bowl quantity alone does not include the flushing accessories.
- Back entry: the recommended optional system is B17744(155UW), a concealed back-entry 15 mm push-button system, one per bowl.
- Top entry: specify one 04VF_WAL-103LUR Walcro lever-operated valve and one 04VFP-UR15TP offset flush pipe per bowl. Include the pipe with the valve.
What to confirm before requesting a quote
Both B17744 models have a Grade 304 stainless steel bowl, integral mounting brackets, a brass flush coupling and a flush spreader. The 40 mm waste opening is the bowl aperture, not confirmation of an included waste fitting or trap.
- Selected inlet arrangement and number of bowls.
- Wall support, inlet alignment and required waste fitting and trap.
- The chosen flush valve's operating requirements and any project-specific constraints.
