Product overview
The Basterfield B36657 provides knee-operated handwashing with a stainless steel shroud around the plumbing. Press the front panel with either knee to operate the valve, leaving both hands free for washing.
The basin is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, with a 500 mm length x 390 mm width, a 40 mm waste outlet and an aerated gooseneck spout. It is wall mounted using a mounting bracket. Confirm the mounting height, wall support and plumbing layout for the installation.
B36657(D) has demand valve operation and a standard splashback. B36657(DE) adds the 400 mm extended splashback. A demand valve delivers water while the knee panel is pressed. Metered models, available under advanced options, deliver water for a preset period after activation.
Front support legs are an optional extra. The leg-equipped configurations use 25 x 25 mm square tubular Grade 304 stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. Select front support legs when requesting a quotation; the listed B36657(D) and B36657(DE) prices exclude them.
Use this basin at staff handwashing points in food processing, commercial kitchens, change rooms and institutional washrooms. Select the valve, splashback and support arrangement to suit the site's handwashing routine and installation layout.
An Advanced Ø22mm thermostatic mixing valve is available as a separately priced optional extra. Choose this optional extra when hot and cold water need to be mixed into a pre-tempered supply. The knee control switches water flow on or off; it does not mix the supplies or adjust the temperature. We recommend one Advanced Ø22mm thermostatic mixing valve per single washing station.
