Product overview
The Basterfield B80109 is a straight general-purpose grab rail made from Grade 304 stainless steel. Its 32 mm diameter rail provides a handhold, with mounting plates at both ends for fixing to a suitable supporting wall.
The range has two specified rail lengths: B80109(500) at 500 mm and B80109(750) at 750 mm. Choose the length to suit the planned handhold position and available installation space.
Applications include handholds alongside toilets, baths or showers and within care-facility washrooms, subject to the project layout and installation requirements. Typical settings include hospitals, clinics, aged-care facilities, hotels, schools and public buildings.
Confirm the supporting wall, fixing method, mounting position and required clearances before installation. Request mounting-plate dimensions, hole centres, wall clearance and load information where these are required for the project.
Clean with products and methods suitable for Grade 304 stainless steel. Inspect the installed rail and its fixings as part of the facility maintenance routine. The product image is representative of the straight-rail design; rail length depends on the selected model.
