Product overview
The Basterfield B65145 is a single-station manual boot wash unit for cleaning footwear at changing-room and production-area entrances. With the brush in its holder, the dimensioned assembly measures 499 mm across the front view × 556 mm front-to-back × 869 mm high, excluding the flexible hose loop and working clearance. The tray measures 400 mm across × 492 mm front-to-back. Rim heights above the floor are 299 mm at the front and 397 mm at the rear; foot centres are 337 mm across × 427 mm front-to-back. Heights are shown at the levelling-foot setting in the GA drawings and vary with adjustment. The drainage enclosure has a centre waste outlet.
A hand-held, water-fed brush lets the user direct scrubbing and rinsing to the areas of the boot that need attention. Water is activated by a foot-operated valve, while the brush is moved by hand. The unit can be used at butcheries, abattoirs, poultry processors, fresh-produce packhouses, dairies, and fish and seafood processors where manual wet boot washing forms part of the site's entry procedure. Position it at changing-room or production entrances to serve processing, preparation and packing areas.
Grade 304 stainless steel construction provides a durable, easy-to-clean framework. The drainage enclosure collects wash water and directs it to the centre outlet, while adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on the floor.
Connect the water supply to the ½″ BSP water inlet and provide a suitable waste connection for the centre 1½″ BSPT waste outlet. Allow clear working space around the station and plan the installation layout before ordering. Use the unit as part of the site's footwear-cleaning procedure; scrubbing and rinsing alone do not establish disinfection.
