The Basterfield E22126(DC-E) Double Bowl Preparation Sink with Extended Splashback is a heavy-duty stainless steel preparation sink designed for commercial kitchens, food production facilities, laboratories, healthcare environments and other high-hygiene work areas. Manufactured in Grade 304 stainless steel as standard, with Grade 316 stainless steel available on request, the unit provides excellent corrosion resistance, cleanability and long-term durability. Standard construction is in 1.2mm stainless steel, with a 1.5mm material thickness option available for more demanding applications. The worktop incorporates a marine edge to help contain spills and maintain a cleaner working area.
The sink is supplied with two bowls, each typically measuring 500mm (L) x 500mm (W) x 250mm (D), providing generous capacity for preparation, washing and rinsing tasks. Bowl sizes can be customised upon request. The standard unit width is 650mm, with a standard working height of 900mm to the work surface, whilst overall length, width and height can be manufactured to suit project requirements. The extended splashback is 300 mm high as standard, with 400, 500 and 600 mm height options for additional wall protection. The splashback is formed as a boxed double-skin construction, giving it strength and rigidity so that it is self-supporting.
The E22126(DC-E) is floor-standing on a full stainless steel framework, making it suitable for high-hygiene and wash-down environments. Adjustable feet allow for easy levelling on site, while the unit can be supplied with a solid undershelf, tubular undershelf or perforated undershelf depending on storage and cleaning requirements. Waste outlet options include Ø40mm or Ø90mm outlet holes to suit the drainage specification. This preparation sink is suitable for food preparation areas, commercial kitchens, butcheries, bakeries, laboratories, healthcare processing areas and industrial hygiene applications where durable, hygienic stainless steel equipment is required.
Working height is measured from the floor to the worktop. Overall height includes the splashback and is calculated from the selected working and splashback heights.
