Product overview
The Basterfield B17710 is the flush-valve version of the stainless steel curved-back trough urinal. Water is supplied through a flush valve to the concealed sparge pipe, which distributes flushing water across the urinal. The chosen flush valve and control arrangement determine how a flush is initiated.
B17710 does not incorporate the drip-fed tipping tray fitted to B17720. For built-in mechanical automatic flushing, choose B17720: its tipping tray slowly fills through a drip cock, periodically tips over to release the collected water and flush the urinal, then returns to fill again. B17720 uses this mechanical filling cycle rather than infrared detection or electronic control.
B17710 has welded Grade 304 stainless steel construction, a satin finish, a curved back, a sloped drip ledge and a sound-deadened back panel. A concealed sparge pipe is supplied from the top inlet. Select the required length and a centre, left-hand or right-hand 70 mm waste outlet to suit the plumbing layout. Confirm the flush valve, inlet connection and end details when specifying the installation.
