B65010 Manual Boot Scrubber with Handle

The Basterfield B65010 is a manual dry boot scrubber for compact entry points and low-traffic areas. The user holds the support bar and moves each boot back and forth through the stationary brushes, supplying the mechanical scrubbing action. Three replaceable brushes contact the sole and both sides of the boot to help remove loose dirt and grit.

The frame and support bar are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The handrail provides a handhold during use, while the floor-mounted frame keeps the brush arrangement in position. The cleaner works without a water connection, powered drive or integrated rinsing system.

Overall dimensions are 400 mm (L) × 385 mm (W) × 1,105 mm (H). Base plates have pre-punched 8 mm fixing holes. Secure the unit to a suitable floor using fixings selected for the substrate, with sufficient space for operation and routine cleaning around the base.

The unit accommodates one user at a time. The supplied B65010 product specification gives an indicative throughput of 2–3 users per minute. Actual throughput depends on the amount of dirt, time spent brushing each boot and the site's cleaning procedure. Plan it for low-traffic access points rather than continuous high-volume entry.

Typical settings include changing-room and production-area entrances in food-processing businesses, butcheries, meat and poultry plants, fresh-produce packhouses, dairies and seafood facilities. It can also provide a dry cleaning step in pharmaceutical and laboratory workplaces where the site procedure permits this method. Brush blocks can be replaced when worn. Remove accumulated debris, clean the frame and surrounding area, and inspect the brushes, support bar and floor fixings regularly. Quote B65010 when requesting replacement brushes so the correct components can be identified.

Dry brushing removes physical dirt; it does not wash or disinfect footwear. Provide a separate washing or disinfection step where required by the site's hygiene procedure.
