The B36644 Wall Mounted Foot Operated Wash Hand Basin With Pedestal is supplied with a deck mounted gooseneck faucet which provides aerated water. The aerated water ensures minimum splash assisting in keeping the wash area clean. The gooseneck faucet is operated by a foot activated button which activates the valve. The wash hand basin can be supplied with either a demand valve, which ensures water flows while the foot button is activated, or a metered valve, which ensures water flows for a preset time after activation. The metered valve is more user-friendly as the button only has to be activated once for water to be supplied. The metered valve also prevents wastage of water.

The foot operated wash hand basin is easy to install and can be simply secured to the wall with heavy duty wall mounting brackets. The pedestal mounting provides additional support and conceals the plumbing. This is both aesthetic and prevents unauthorised tampering with the plumbing fittings. The splashback can be supplied with an extended length preventing the need for tiling. The unit is supplied pre-plumbed with connection on-site to the inlet valve being required.
