Product overview
The Advanced AD-TM-22 Ø22mm thermostatic mixing valve blends hot and cold water to provide a pre-tempered water supply to a basin or washing station. It is available as a separately priced optional extra for knee-operated basins and wash troughs.
Knee operation controls flow only: the water is either on or off. The knee control does not mix hot and cold water or adjust the outlet temperature. Fit the mixing valve upstream when a mixed warm-water supply is required, so the water is tempered before it reaches the knee-operated outlet.
We recommend one valve per single washing station. For knee-operated wash troughs, allow one valve per two stations and round up for an odd station count: one valve for two stations, two valves for three or four stations, and three valves for five or six stations. For separately operated individual bowls, allow one valve per bowl.
The valve mixes an existing hot supply with cold water; it does not heat water. Where a suitable pre-tempered supply is already provided by the building, an additional local mixing valve may not be needed. Select the valve separately when requesting a quotation. Confirm the supply conditions, flow requirements and installation arrangement against the manufacturer's instructions.
